Cordoba, Spain

nice 'winter' afternoon

nice ‘winter’ afternoon

my friends and I went to some parts of Spain (to be exact, Andalusia) during our winter break from 26th December 2013 to 31st December 2013. the parts we covered were Malaga, Granada, Cordoba and we also went to Gibraltar, a UK country next to Spain. it was in winter, but we did not feel the winter at all in Spain. it was warm, no jacket needed.

in this post, I am going to write about our trip to Cordoba. the highlight of our Cordoba trip was the Mezquita Cathedral, which was once a mosque, and then transformed into cathedral and now open for visitors. the ticket costed less than 10 euros, and the last admission was at 5.30 p.m.

we had our lunch around there. we divided ourselves into two groups. one group went to Indian restaurant and another group to Moroccan restaurant. I was in the Moroccan group. the meal was superb. and they were really customer-friendly. they served free mint-tea and we could not get out of the restaurant until we took a shot.

mint-tea, my all time favourite!
